This is the time for members of the public to present issues of concern or interest to the Board.  All issues requiring further research will be forwarded to the appropriate staff for response at a later time.  Each speaker will be limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes, and the format shall be limited to presentation only.  The Board will not engage with any speaker during this Public Comment period. Personal attacks and disagreements, personnel and employment matters, the use of profanity or ethnic, racial or gender-oriented slurs are prohibited, as is any "disorderly conduct" which violates State or Local law and shall not be permitted. If an individual disregards these rules, they will be asked to leave the Commissioner's Meeting Room.

Consent Agenda:

All matters under the consent agenda are considered routine by the Board of County Commissioners and will be enacted with a single vote.  There will be no separate discussion of these items.  If discussion is deemed necessary, that item should be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered separately.

Human Services

Consideration and possible action on the revised Purchase of Service Agreement between CASA of the Seventh Judicial District, Inc. and Montrose County Human Services to provide the Chafee Foster Care Program, effective Oct. 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025, as reviewed by Counsel; this represents a budgeted reimbursed expense of $10,302.00.

Public Works

Consideration of acceptance and close-out of the Paint Striping Project for 2024 services awarded to Stripe A Lot, Inc., in the amount of $181,669.90. Stripe A Lot, Inc. has completed the paint striping project and based on final quantities, the actual cost was $179,540.76. Public notice of final payment has been published, and no claims have been made. Upon acceptance of the project; retainage in the amount of $8,977.03 will be released to Stripe A Lot, Inc., on Friday, January 24, 2025; as reviewed by Counsel.

Public Works

Consideration and possible adoption of Resolution Number _____-2025 for the extension of the Professional Services Agreement for Professional On-Call Engineering and/or Surveying Services for 2025 with Yeh and Associates, Inc.; as reviewed by Counsel. The 2025 Road & Bridge budget includes on-call engineering services to provide expertise on various projects. Specific work assignments will be authorized by a purchase order.
